Injections

Therapeutic injections aid in relief from chronic pain and certain disorders.

Sacroiliac Joint (SI) Injection – This injection can help relieve low-back pain by reducing inflammation and aiding the doctor in diagnosing the source of your pain.

Intralaminar Epidural Injection (lumbar) – Steroid medication is injected into the spinal canal to reduce or eliminate inflammation, swelling, and sensitivity of neural tissue. This can help relieve pain in the back, legs, hips or other areas associated with irritated spinal nerves.

Transforaminal Epidural Injection – Steroid medication is injected to reduce or eliminate inflammation, swelling, and sensitivity of neural tissue due to any cause. The injection may also increase mobility and help recipients avoid surgery.

Facet Injection – This minimally invasive, nonsurgical injection reduces inflammation and irritation. It also numbs pain, providing quick relief to patients. We also use this injection to identify pain-generating areas in a patient’s body.

Botulinum Toxin Injection – a protein that when injected prevents the release of acetylcholine, preventing contraction of the muscles. This is more commonly referred to as Botox®, Dysport®, Myobloc® or Xeomin® injections. Learn more about Botulinum Toxin Injections here.
